A practical planning range is £2,500–£5,000 for a young bird offered with identifiable records. This is an indicative range, not a fixed market price or a current Paraíso de Aves quotation. Actual offers vary with the individual bird, age, provenance, socialisation, seller, location and included services.
The Blue-and-Yellow Macaw is listed in CITES Appendix II. That listing does not produce one universal paperwork rule for every transaction: the documents and controls depend on the specimen, countries and movement route. Buyers should verify the current requirements before paying for transport.

They can cost less than some rarer large macaws, but “value” depends on suitability, health, records and the lifetime cost of care. A lower purchase price does not make a large macaw easier or less expensive to keep.
The written offer should identify the bird and state exactly which identification, provenance, veterinary, sales and route-specific movement records are supplied. It should also state whether transport and the carrier are included.
